The two of us had been friends for quite some time…who knew it would ever go any further? I remember going with Brandon over to a girl’s house he was *dating* to watch a movie with the two of them…heck, I even sat in the car while they sucked face at the end of the night, HAH! Brandon always had an amazing personality and a very witty sense of humor…what more could a girl ask for? I’m a bit of a smartass myself (who knew?) so I definitely needed someone who could fire it back….well I found him.
While living with my girlfriends, Lish and Katie, Brandon finally realized his love for me, haha…ok, maybe it wasn’t like THAT, but he did relay his *interest* to Lish…who then thought it would be cute to announce it on the White Board in our Kitchen, hah! Magical beginning right? Well of course…I couldn’t resist.
*Dating* was easy….we had been friends for a few years prior…so we already knew each other’s personality and oh so clever sense of humor…it almost came too easy for us. We’re very lucky. It didn’t take us too long to realize how much we loved each other…and yes, Brandon was the first one to say it! We were on my balcony…on the 5th floor of mine and Lish’s apartment. I’ll never forget. Who knew our love for each other would eventually turn into something so fantastic and give us one of the greatest gifts anyone could ask for?
Zoe Lynne Haynes….impatient since the womb, was born on February 18, 2004 at 6:11am….joining this world about 7 weeks early and has taught us both so much about ourselves. Those close to us know some of the harder times we have gone through and also know how strong and determined we were through it all. The love we share with each other and our Daughter has helped us both grow up so much and respect the power of love. Our friends and family has been an amazing resource of support for all three of us. Without them, I don’t think we would have gotten as far as we have both professionally and personally. For that, we are forever grateful.
Each day we make sure to say *I love you* anytime we see each other…talk on the phone…or go to bed. You can’t take even the small moments for granted…you’re only given so many. We’re both so thankful to have each other…and to have a beautiful Daughter to share our love and life with. Many more memories to make…much more love left to give….and definitely dozens of smiles left to share…..thank you all for being a part of them.
Now all mushy gushy stuff aside…can we just say….WE’RE SO FREAKING EXCITED! YAY!

Our wedding is being held at Misty Valley Wedding Chapel in Shelbyville, KY. It's a quaint little country chapel...nothing super fancy, but absolutely beautiful. Our wedding colors are going to be Red, Black and White. Directly after the wedding we will be having a reception at the same location (except it's downstairs). We're looking forward to spending this special day with our friends and family!

The reception really is the best part of a wedding, right? No one is under any pressure at that time....it's just time to kick your heels up and have fun. Our chapel is located in a dry county...so we are not able to have a bar, however, I will be bringing PLENTY of champagne for the *Toast*. We have already picked out the cake...and heck, even paid for it too. The cake will be three tiers, chocolate on top, white with raspberry filling on the second tier and red velvet on the bottom. The cake will be all white with black branches and bright red cherry blossoms creeping up the front of the cake. As for food, we are still trying to figure out who to work with on catering...but I promise you will not go hungry! The venue for the reception is small so we may be getting to know one another pretty well that day, haha. My goal is to just have fun, get lots of pics and enjoy the company of those I love. This isn't just our wedding, this is a celebration of LOVE!

Thank you to our family and friends for all of your support and all of your love you have given us through the years. We're so looking forward to spending this special day with you. We love you!
