Well, as most of you already know, Ken and I met at the St. Clair Shores Moose Lodge at the annual Luau in September of 2002. We began dating that December - and here we are today! Six Decembers later we decided to go for it!

The ceremony will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Jefferson between 12 and 13 mile and is a beautiful location that Ken came across while driving down Jefferson one day. We have been attending services there for several months and met Pastor Jack Cascione on our first visit. He is thrilled to perform our ceremony and has requested that we are both confirmed prior to the nuptials. Our confirmations will be at Redeemer on September 7th, 2008. The wedding ceremony begins at 4pm and we will be celebrating with dinner, drinks, family and friends at Barrister Gardens on Harper Avenue at 6pm. As you know, the wedding will be just before the Christmas holiday and the hall will be stunning!

Our reception will be held at Barrister Gardens on Harper Avenue between 9 and 10 mile on the west side of the road. There is parking in the rear of the building - and we are hoping that we don't have a blizzard that day. The reception is from 6pm until midnight, beginning with a fantastic fruit and cheese arrangement and followed by a sit down dinner at 7pm - so don't be late! Anyone that has ever attended a function at Barrister Gardens knows that they don't want to miss dinner! DJ Dave from our Moose Lodge will be entertaining us throughout the evening, along with all of the other wedding festivities. Be sure to keep Dave working! Anything you want to hear, just ask. I can't think of anything he doesn't have!

There are several reasonable hotels in the 13 mile and Little Mack area for anyone who needs overnight accomodations.
