Dave and I met online at Singlesnet.Com. Dave was a member and I had just renewed my portfolio (I had been off for a few months). We started talking last year in October (Yeah it hasn't been that long) by email. And, as Dave likes to say, he kept throwing his phone number out there but I just wanted to keep talking to him by email. Finally he got me one day with my guard down and I said OK lets meet. That was in December and we have very rarely been apart since. The picture of the fountain is in Fountain Hills, Arizona and that is where Dave proposed. It was a gorgeous day and my brother Mark unknowingly was involved and was the first to know of our engagement. We are both acquiring two additional kids. Dave has a son Robbie (he lives in California) and a daughter Mindee (she lives in Chandler). Cindy has two sons, Jason (lives in Phoenix) and Justin (lives next door, literally). We have had several family get togethers and we all get along great! Everyday gets better and every day it seems like we have known each other forever.
We are planning a very small, close family wedding ceremony where everyone will be involved in the ceremony. Cindy's father, Stan, is a retired minister for The Church of the Nazarene and he and his wife Dorthey will be coming from Indiana to marry us. We are planning a small evening ceremony on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Cindy is the financial controller for a luxury home builder in Scottsdale, Arizona and they have just completed a home in Scottsdale for a couple that reside in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jerry and Elsie Martin, AND they have so graciously opened their new home for us to have our evening wedding! We will have the ceremony on the back patio facing the Phoenix skyline. It should be a beautiful outdoors wedding. Since the Martin's are also from Indianapolis, Cindy has had a connection with them since her work started building their home almost two years ago. We are very excited to be able to have our ceremony at their beautiful home and we are very thankful that the Martin's are so generous with their new home!
We will be having a reception/party/get together on Saturday, December 13. We decided to wait until we came back from our honeymoon so that we can have a more relaxed time where our family and friends can meet and visit and we can show our pictures and memories from our Wedding and Mexican Riviera Cruise. The reception is going to be at our apartment 1233 N. Mesa Dr., #2059, Mesa, AZ 85201. We are located between Brown Rd and McKellips Rd on the east side of Mesa Drive at The Moorings at Mesa Cove. Our street, when you get in the complex, is Huntington Drive (first right after the mailboxes) and we are in Building #15. Park anywhere that is not covered.
