Alron: Long before even met Kristen I gave up dating and focused on my relationship with God. I told Him, "I'm not dating anybody else until you tell me that she's my wife. God told me to write a petition describing what I wanted in a wife. So I did, prayed over it, and forgot it. Fastforward: The 1st time I saw Kristen was in a Monday night service. Of course, I said to myself she's beautiful. I said to myself, I said, "Gorgeous, she's gonna make a man of God happy one day, but not me." So I keep worshipping. Later own that night a guy I used to play ball with introduced me to her. Me being me I spoke and went about my business. Didn't speak or look at her much the rest of the night. Come to find out that she and the guy I played ball with were dating. I said, "God Help Her," because I knew how he viewed women. Fastforward: We becaume good friends during and after the course of her and that guy's relationship. We were like brother and sister. I remember one night outside of her and her parents house, we were talking about marriage. I said to her, "You are going to be a great wife and make a great man of God very happy one day, but you're not my wife." I had to put it out there even though I know she wasn't thinking that way. Fastforward: God came to me one day and told me that Kristen is my wife and my natural response was, "get thee behind me satan." But he opened my eyes and heart to who she was and is to me and our ministry and to God. He showed me His vision of us and my heart overflowed. So I talked to Kristen and she confirmed that God spoke to her as well. So we fasted together for 2 weeks and God confirmed to us again. Fastforward: Now here we are about to do what God has annointed. Get married. I ran into that petition and compared Kristen too it and she met every single thing on that list and then some. Side note: After our 2nd year being together God reminded me of a dream I had before I even met Kristen. I had a dream that I was playing my wife to sleep on a keyboard. I saw a glimpse of my wife's leg/foot and the side of her face, but it wasn't clear. Come to find out, that dream that I had, that was Kristen, with no mistaking. God gave me a dream about my wife before I even met her and before I was playing the piano. GOD IS GOOD!!!
A Majestic Enchantment of Covenant Love
That's the name of our themed wedding. We will be having our wedding on the Carnival Glory, the cruise ship we will be sailing. After the wedding and cake, we will have a reception and we will start our honeymoon, because hey, we are already on a great cruise ship going to great islands in the wester carribbean seas, it's God ordained perfect. Depending on the number of guess and how much they're willing to spend will determine what kind of reception we will have. For now it is just my bride to be and me, but the wedding is open for family and friends who can afford it. We are so excited at what God is doing. We had our own plans for our wedding, but God had a different one and it's much better than our original. We love it. WE GOT DIS!!!! So those who can attend thank you for being there for us and to those who can not, we COMPLETELY understand, but we still welcome the prayers support, AND GIFTS *wink* *wink*. So stand back and brace yourselves for what God is doing and going to do through this Majestic Enchantment of Covenant Love.
Our reception really depends on how many can make it and how many are willing to pay a little extra. For now our reception will be everyone going to the 24 hour buffet and just having a little fun or going to the onboard lounge to eat, dance, and have a great time. The entire ship is a reception all it's own. What a great way to celebrate after a beautiful wedding. Celebrating aboard a ship cruising across the ocean. Beautiful!
Everyone will have to make their own travel arrangements. Whether you want to take a train, bus, car, or plane it is completely up to you. If you are flying you have 3 options: You can either book your own flight, book your flight through a travel agent, or book your flight through Carnival Cruises. Depending on where you're coming from will determine the price for the flight. Keep in mind that Carnival only does round trip flights, which most of you will want anyway. So shop around and find the best price to meet your needs and finances.
We would like to thank everyone for your support of this union between God, Kristen, and myself. Through this cruise wedding we are getting an all in one wedding of a lifetime. It includes the ceremony, the reception, and the honeymoon. Thank you all for your prayers, support, and understanding of this wedding style. This is completely God orchestrated.
