Andy and I met many many moons ago...actually it was on his recruiting trip to Tarleton State University... but he just doesn't remember. :(

So.....we will only talk about the day he does remember...we were both hanging out with our friends at a local bar in Stephenville when I first approached him. He spoke and asked what we were doing later and invited us to a party. He went to get a napkin to write down my number and to my shock he couldn't remember my name. I should have ran then but I didn't lol. My friends and I went to the party and well we won't go into mushy details but we have been together every since.

As we all know Andy Wayne is not the sappy romantic so don't get all excited when you read our Proposal. :)

It was on the night of my 29th birthday and I really had no idea that he would propose on my birthday much less right before bed...but he did. He had placed my ring under the bed covers on my pillow. Yes very very sweet but how he asked me to marry him was quite the opposite. He was sitting on the couch playing on the laptop as he asked me to be his wife. I sure hope his nerves were in a knot and he just wasn't being that "non-romantic."

If you all know us very well at all the following will not suprise you...It took me throwing the ring box at him for him to finally get up and come over to me, but he never did get down on one knee. He asked me to be his wife and told me why, but I was utterly shocked and cannot recall what he said. Even after all of that I somehow still love him to pieces and said yes.

Well this has been the interesting part....we had planned a wedding set for March 2012 but we unexpectedly made a move to Brownfield Tx and figured being so far away and planning a wedding in such a short time probably wouldn't be smart. So we cancelled that ceremony. Then we decided that we would just get married on a cruise ship and have a very small wedding and leave for our honeymoon immediately following. Well who knew that weddings on a cruise ship were so popular and by the time I called all of the sailing dates for this summer were already taken. So we decided to try for round 3 and it finally worked. We will be getting married in Brownwood, TX at an old Train Depot on July 14, 2012 at 6:30 in the evening. Hopefully we will have an outdoor ceremony and the reception inside the Depot.

So this is the obvious....we are going on a 7 day Eastern Carribean cruise out of the port of Galveston. Since Andy and I are rather non-traditional as a couple, we have opted to register for our friends and family to purchase things towards our honeymoon rather than buy us household goods. Of course please do not feel obligated to at all, I just hated to be completely against the norm and not register at all.
