Kayla and Nathan have known each other for a while.  They met in high school.  Nathan finally asked her out while outing to the county library.  Since then, they have dated for about 11 years.  It was on Christmas Eve, 2012 that Nathan finally proposed to Kayla.  He waited until they had arrived home to swap gifts before Christmas Day.  While she was assembling all of her gifts to him, he procceded to assend to one knee for the proposal.  When she turned around, she dropped his gifts and started to cry.  Of course her response was yes.

Now, almost 2 years later, they are going to tie the knot.  Their story has taken awhile to arrive at marriage but they are happy to have endured their times and wish to complete their journey together.

The wedding for Kayla and Nathan will be a very personal and private ceremony.  It will be held on Folly Beach in front on the Morris Island Lighthouse in late October.  The ceremony will be led by Anna Miller, LVT.  The service will be video recorded for emailing to family and friends.

Kayla and Nathan will be leaving on the Carnival Fantasy for a 5 day honeymoon to the Bahamas.  In lieu of wedding gifts, they request family and friends give assistance towards cost of cruise activities and excursions (per Nathan, unless the gift is a 3D 65" tv, lol.)
