Welcome
Welcome
Welcome

We knew our love would be different from all others we had experienced. Our lives have been connected since childhood and we are finally making it official!

Please join us aboard the Carnival Valor as we celebrate the union of our love before we set sail for our Caribbean Honeymoon. The ceremony will be immediately followed by a cocktail hour style reception with an open bar, so be prepared and designate a driver!

We would love to have each and every one of our family and friends present for our special day, but unfortunately the ship accomodations do not allow this so we have had to keep our guest list to immediate family and the bridal party. We do hope that even if you will be unable to attend, please know that our hearts are wishing you there! And everyone can be part of our joy by contributing to our exotic honeymoon and celebrate with us in spirit!

Port Canaveral has implemented a system of detailed electronic signs to guide guests and visitors to the correct terminal for their cruise ship. The Carnival Valor, which we will be sailing on, will be located at cruise terminal 10, and is adjacent to a parking garage. The address for the port terminal can be found on your invitation and boarding information sheet. All guests, including children, must have identification in order to board the ship. The easiest form of I.D. for an adult is a state issued Driver's License or identification card. Of course, most children will not have one of these so a birth certificate can serve for their identification.

On the same point, the port has partnered with numerous local hotels to provide discounted accommodations for our party. We will be researching these to provide the best possible experience and quality for our stay; further information to be given when we have secured our preferred hotel. Of course, you are free to stay wherever you choose, but please allow ample travel time to the port the morning of the wedding due to strict boarding policies. Any delay can result in a cancellation of our ceremony and reception.

All guests are required to be fully dressed and prepared before arrival to the terminal for boarding, only one room will be available for the bridal party to dress before the wedding and this will also be the room in which the bride will wait. Once the boarding process is complete, there will be ample time for guests to explore the ship, but all guests must be in the designated ceremony area at the specified time, which will be announced at a later date. Any delays on part of the guest or bridal party will result in the ceremony and reception being cut short.

Dear Wedding Party:

We are celebrating a very special day that our bridal couple has chosen to share with you, their family and friends.  It is very important that we all do everything in our power to make the day special and memorable for them.  A shipboard wedding may be a new experience for you, so we ask that you review the information below to ensure a stress free and safe day for everyone.

Boarding:  Priority boarding is provided for bridal couples, as well as their guests, being married on the day of sailing.  The time to board the ships is controlled by US Customs and Immigration.  No one is allowed to board the ship until US Customs and Immigration clear the ship. Due to the terrorist attacks on our country, US Customs and Immigration have increased security measures. In the event the delay in boarding affects the time of the wedding, the wedding will be delayed accordingly.

Guests:   We ask for all guests to be at the Pier at 10:30 a.m. to begin the check-in process so once the ship has cleared, we will be able to priority board before all other cruising passengers.

Guests who do not arrive at the time we board will have to make their own way on the ship.

Non-Sailing Guests:  All non-sailing guests are to be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal.  The bride and groom submitted a guest list for all non-sailing guests including your names and date of birth.  You will need to provide your state issued photo ID at the time of check in, please have it available. You will leave your ID with Security in the terminal and be given a guest pass to board the ship.  Non-sailing guests are welcome to tour the ship until the ceremony time. All non-sailing guests must debark the ship immediately after the reception. When leaving the ship, you will need to redeem your ID in the ship’s terminal.

Sailing Guests:  All sailing guests (except the bride and groom) should be completely dressed and ready for the wedding when arriving at the cruise terminal. Time permitting, sailing guests may have an opportunity to go to their stateroom, however, the cabin may not be ready. Only the bride and groom’s cabin is guaranteed to be ready. The bride and groom may carry on a garment bag in addition to a carry-on bag. Only one hand-carry-on bag will be permitted for sailing guests and must fit through the security machine. (Luggage not to exceed 24”w x 16”h). All other bags must be checked with the Porters.  Please ensure that you have everything you need for the wedding and reception, as you will not see your checked bags until after the reception.  Please ensure that all ticket documents have been completed prior to arrival at the pier to expedite check-in and have proper boarding documents available. Once onboard, you may go to your stateroom.  If you lose your way, any Carnival Cruise Lines staff member can direct you.
