Supercharge your adrenaline rush at Jaguar Paw Adventure Outpost behind the wheel of your Jungle buggy on rugged trails through lush jungle forest canopy with towering trees and to keep the aderenaline pumping Zipline 500ft across the jungle sky. Remember to keep your eyes open. Screams allowed. From hot wheels to river tubes, it is time to descend down under stalactite lined walls and an amazing breathtaking entrance to the world of the Maya underground. You get to disembark your tube and explore the cave chambers dating back to 300 to 900 A.D. Back in your tube you make your way to the cave’s lagoon where you can enjoy a dip in the cool refreshing water. When you return to base camp, you can purchase photos of your journey. Local food and drinks are available for sale at the Jaguar Paw Jungle Café.

Escape to your private island for the day. Maya Key is your 11+ acre oasis of fun and relaxation. Your adventure begins with a short scenic boat ride from your cruise ship port. Enjoy the natural setting of pristine beaches, lush gardens, tropical waters and the Meso-American coral reef. Other experiences include our animal rehabilitation and rescue facility. From our Honduran jungle cats like Jaguars and Ocelots to our feathered friends in the giant aviary you will learn each animal has a unique story worth being shared. Monkeys and reptiles are some of the favorites and we have daily animal encounters so be sure to check out the activities board. Check out our Shark snorkel or sea lion encounter (for additional fee). You will think you have gone back to the time of the Mayans as you explore the Mayan ball court and plazas, interpretation center, and art exhibits. Our island chefs serve up some of their own recipes in a traditional island picnic served buffet style overlooking the pool, beach and the Caribbean sea. Gift shop with local handy crafts available on site. Note: lockers are available to rent Bring your own towel, swim suit, sun block, bug repellent, camera. Snorkeling equipment is included.

Sail back in time onboard the gaff rigged square topsail schooner Liana's Ransom. Learn the ropes and see why schooners were favored by pirates, privateers, fisherman and the Royal Navy. Enjoy a 2.5 hour sail along the west coast of Grand Cayman. Swim and snorkel in the Caribbean sea during the one hour swim/snorkel stop. Dress up as a pirate, help hoist 2500 square feet of sail, steer the ship, and maybe even fire a cannon! Once at the swim/snorkel stop you can walk the plank, and dive into beautiful Cayman waters. Catch a glimpse of tropical fish and possibly stingrays and turtles. Relive history and experience life in the days of sail. Hear tales of pirates and privateers in Cayman waters, discover which Cayman Island Blackbeard is reputed to have buried treasure on. Learn about what they ate and drank, how they lived and even how a few of the scoundrels died.

Explore underground caverns and learn about the ancient Mayan culture. You'll also enjoy a traditional Mayan lunch, and enjoy free time for shopping or the beach. After a short bus ride, arrive at the historic "Chaac Tun" cenote, a sacred site to the ancient Mayans. These natural wonders were created by the filtration of water through the limestone terrain, and over the course of thousands of years created stunning stalactites, columns and formations. Follow the guides toward a fresh water underground river, where you’ll have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the underground caverns and take a refreshing swim. Everything you need to safely enjoy this unusual ecosystem is provided, including a helmet, life vest. In order to preserve the ecological integrity of the area, sunscreen is not permitted until after the swimming portion of the tour. You'll have the opportunity to play the ancient Mayan handball game of tiachtili and have a traditional Mayan lunch. Try Pollo Pibil, a traditional Yucatan chicken dish, as well as fresh seasonal fruit. Hop back into the bus and continue your exploration of the Mayan Riviera, as you head back towards the pier, where upon arrival, you’ll have an hour and a half to browse the colorful 5th Avenue boutiques and shops, or simply relax on the white sand beach.
