Take a magical Jungle walk into the secrets of an Ancient Mayan Cenote Sanctuary. Be amazed by the mystic aura that surrounds four unique natural Cenotes, nurtured all of them through under - ground fresh water rivers. Your expedition will begin with a Jungle Walk along the “Original Mayan Water Trail", where you will discover our first cenote named “La Cueva" due to its spectacular natural arch. Hop back onto the path to our second cenote, known as "Centote Kay" due to the small “cleaner " fish that gently clean skin impurities. It is also one of the few cenotes with stalactites. Your next hop will take you to the amazing "Gran Cenote Azul". This great blue cenote is named after it's clear blue water color, and its cool temperature. Hop on to your final stroll to our cenote highlight; named "Cenote Naval", due to its huge 500 meter size. You will traverse this natural wonder on your own canoe, admiring the surrounding exotic flora and fauna. After all this activity and excitement, you will surely be hungry. Enjoy a typical Mayan lunch, where you will discover the traditional process of handmade flour tortillas that will accompany Chicken Pibil and Poc-chuc pork with a variety of side dishes including salsas and guacamole, as well as unlimited flavored waters and coffee.

Escape to your private island for the day. Maya Key is your 11+ acre oasis of fun and relaxation. Your adventure begins with a short scenic boat ride from your cruise ship port. Enjoy the natural setting of pristine beaches, lush gardens, tropical waters and the Meso-American coral reef. Other experiences include our animal rehabilitation and rescue facility. From our Honduran jungle cats like Jaguars and Ocelots to our feathered friends in the giant aviary you will learn each animal has a unique story worth being shared. Monkeys and reptiles are some of the favorites and we have daily animal encounters so be sure to check out the activities board. Check out our Shark snorkel or sea lion encounter (for additional fee). You will think you have gone back to the time of the Mayans as you explore the Mayan ball court and plazas, interpretation center, and art exhibits. Our island chefs serve up some of their own recipes in a traditional island picnic served buffet style overlooking the pool, beach and the Caribbean sea. Gift shop with local handy crafts available on site.

Your awe-inspiring excursion begins when you take a scenic boat ride along Belize's barrier islands on your way to beautiful, unspoiled Caye Caulker. Your boat will stop in Caye Caulker, giving you the opportunity to change into your swimwear. After a safety briefing, you will proceed to the edge of the amazing Barrier Reef, where our professional marine guides will assist you. Enjoy the rich, pristine waters, and abundant marine and reef life and coral formations. After snorkeling the Barrier Reef, you will proceed to Shark & Ray Alley where you will enter the water in small groups where you will have the amazing experience of swimming in the water with these gentle sea creatures.You can stand on the sandy bottom or float and just let these gentle creatures swim by you in very close proximity. After this amazing, personal encounter with sharks & rays, it’s back to the island of Caye Caulker. At the Las Olas Restaurant (lunch is not included in the tour and we suggest bringing cash to cover the expenses). Relax on the water’s edge of the beautiful Caribbean Sea on the sandy pristine beaches of Caye Caulker, located immediately adjacent to the Las Olas Restaurant where time seems to stand still.Enjoy a bit of island exploration and relaxation and the warm Caribbean Charm of Caye Caulker and the richness of its people. Then it’s time for the enjoyable and very scenic ride back to the ship while enjoying our free rum punch.
