Thank you for your support throughout our relationship and as we take this next step as husband and wife. We are so thankful to have you all in our support system. We will think of you as we build memories together in Alaska. Thank you for generosity to help us embark on some memories of a life time on our Alaskan Cruise. We love to travel and it has been a staple of our relationship since day one. We enjoy getting out and exploring the world especially new places together. We have lived together for sometime now and have many pots and pans but would love to continue to build our memories together on a once in a life time cruise through Alaska. Our cruise will start in Seattle, we will this board the Carnival Legend for a trip of a lifetime. We will then stop at Skagway where we hope tour the town and explore its history and have breakfast at the "Red Onion Saloon" before we aboard the Yukon Railway and take in the scenery on a trip by rail from Skagway to a part of Canada, once we return we will board the ship to head to Juneau. In Juneau we want to explore the Glaciers and go out on a catamaran to look for wildlife you surely wont find in Iowa! We promise if we see any whales, sea lions, or other neat creatures to share lots of pictures! After surviving seeing some of the largest creatures in the Ocean we will then head to Ketchikan. In Ketchikan we plan to take a small adventurous boat ride to Orca beach and do a small nature hike. Our last stop before we head back to Seattle will be in British Columbia, Canada. We plan to just walk around and explore the town. It will be a busy but wonderful trip and we appreciate you wanting to help us create some memories we will never forget on our first trip as HUSBAND and WIFE. We appreciate all you have done for us and supported us in our journey so far and we can wait to experience this next chapter in our lives with all of you! Before we go on the steam engine on the Yukon Rail way we plan to explore the town of Skagway on this amazing tour. we will step aboard a motorcoach for a light-hearted tour of Skagway through its early morning streets to the Red Onion Saloon and Brothel where we will be greeted with a garter and breakfast. On this excursion we will: Learn about Skagway’s more colorful, and sometimes dark-side as you your driver will point out the historic saloons and storefronts where notorious scoundrels like Soapy Smith earned their reputations during the wild, lawless days of the gold rush. At the famous Red Onion Saloon and Brothel, lavishly costumed madams will greet us with a garter and a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese, onions and peppers, sausage links and a warm buttermilk buscuit served with seasonal fruit. Be delighted by their provocative tales of Klondike Kate, Diamond Tooth Lil, Pea Hull Annie and other enterprising women who worked the Red Onion in 1898. We will step upstairs to the celebrated brothel museum and explore the halls and bedrooms where the priceless silver dress worn by the Onion’s first madam is on display with many of the original artifacts left by the “Soiled Doves” of yesteryear. We will get to Have our photograph taken with one of the madams and will keep a sharp eye out for Lydia, the Onion’s resident ghost, who is said to make her appearances in the early morning. We cannot thank you enough for your support and will think of you often as we take in all the sights Alaska has to offer! We promise to share lots of pictures and cannot thank each of you enough for making this once in a life time trip full of excitement!
