CATALINA ZIPLINE ADVENTURE

You will travel close to three quarters of a mile over five consecutive zip lines at heights of 300 feet above the canyon floor at speeds pushing 45 mph. Starting almost 600 feet above sea level in the hills overlooking Avalon, this 3,700 foot zip line is comprised of five heart pounding zips across Descanso Canyon, flying towards the ocean on the final one! Reach speeds of up to 45mph while crisscrossing Descanso Canyon. Soar 300 feet above the canyon floor with breathtaking views of the ocean. Learn about the unique flora, fauna, and history of the island from our naturalist trained guides and interpretive signs on each platform. After completion of tour, guests will walk back to ship (approx 10-15 mins).

SURF LESSON AT PLAYA HERMOSA

Whether you're a beginner or intermediate surfer, you will love our surfing lessons at our sandy Playa Hermosa beach in Ensenada. Board your air-conditioned vehicle which will take you to the surfing base camp, setup right on the beach. Be welcomed by your instructors who are professional watermen and surfers from Baja California. Start your lesson with surfing theory and safety instructions, warm up with some yoga surfing positions, before our pop-up practice on the sand. Then it's time to grab your board and go surfing for a 1 hr. surf practice to get some waves. All lessons include surfing equipment (surfboard, wetsuit and rash-guard) for the duration of the lesson as well as lockers for your belongings. We teach that surfing is not just a sport, but a remedy for life. A light snack and beverage is included on this excursion. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age to join this tour.

Explore Catalina’s giant kelp forest and marine life on this snorkel adventure. On this excursion, you will: Take a short walk to the Avalon Underwater Park where you’ll receive a safety briefing and your snorkeling gear. Proceed to the dive site, directly from shore, where you will interact with hundreds of feeding fish as your guides hand feeds them. See the thick, giant kelp forest and its inhabitants, including schooling fish, bat rays, moray eels and lobsters.
