Once in Belize we will board a smaller boat and travel up the river through the jungle to the ancient Mayan city of Altun Ha. We will be able to explore the ruins, take pictures of the surrounding landscape from the top of the temples and learn more about Mayan history. This is something that we both have been wanting to do!

Once in Cozumel we will be able to explore ancient Mayan caves. We will float through 11 1/2 miles of underground tunnels where we will see a collection of stalactites and stalagmites. Our underground tour will be followed by a traditional Mexican lunch. We can't wait to explore the caves!
