Historic Grand Turk by Trolley Train

Join us on a sightseeing tour that takes you to historic Cockburn Town, onboard our touring road train. On this excursion you will: Depart the cruise center on board an open-air, road train.  Discover some of the history and culture of Grand Turk Receive information about the island’s arid climate, plant and wildlife. Learn about John Glenn’s splash down off the coast of Grand Turk. Pass-by the salt Salinas and learn a bit about Grand Turk’s salt-raking era. Tour along historic Duke Street and Front Street as your guide discusses the Bermudian-style architecture and history of the tiny capital. Enjoy some free-time in town to take some photos or browse the small, local gift shops on the waterfront.  Return to the cruise center by road train. Re-board the train in town for the return to the cruise center.

Island Bike Tour

Create Your Own Excursion Registry Item

Grab a bike and join us for a ride around Half Moon Cay. On this excursion you will: Pedal past the Welcome Center, oceanfront, water sports rental center, Bahamian Church, Food Pavilion, and Half Moon Beach. Continue down the beach where you will see our stable of horses swimming in the ocean. Visit locations of historic significance, and learn about the history of the early inhabitants to the present day. Your guide will point out the flora and fauna and tell of its use for medicinal purposes as used by the locals. Be escorted to the Bone Fish Lagoon. This 700 acre, ocean fed lagoon, is breathtaking. While at the lagoon, you will stop for a rest and visit the Stingray Adventure. This is the only opportunity for you to see the technical areas of the island . Here you can see how we desalinate sea water, and generate electricity. Note: Bike ride is approximately 3 miles. Minimum age is 12 years. Minimum height requirement is 55”. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Water and soft drinks are included. There is no shade, therefore a hat and sunscreen are recommended. All bikes are equipped with baskets, flags, and helmets..

Together, we’ll discover one memorable experience in Nassau! We’ll cruise along the crystal blue waters to Ft. Montague seeing many of the famous properties and homes along the way. Arriving at Paradise Island, we’ll walk to the world-renowned Atlantis Resort, walk through the magnificent Atlantis Dig, we’ll witness many different types of exotic fish, sea creatures and ancient artifacts of Atlantis. After our adventure we’ll hit the Atlantis Casino and Crystal shopping court!
