There were so many honeymoon cruises to choose from with different honeymoon suites, different honeymoon destinations with honeymoon packages, and all inclusive honeymoon resorts with all inclusive honeymoon packages! We finally chose one and thanks to all who had helped us do research on which destination to choose for our romantic honeymoon getaway! We are just counting the days until our wedding and anticipating our romantic Carnival Honeymoon Cruise in the Bahamas! To our friends and family, once again, thank you so much for everything you have done to make this possible! We look forward to seeing you all on our beloved day!

Dune Buggy Adventure

Create Your Own Excursion Registry Item

Feel the thrill of driving a dune buggy around the island – Grand Turk style. On this excursion we will climb aboard a customized dune buggy. Head down the narrow tracks that skirt the beach and rock coastline around the island to the south-east side. Take a trek to the bluff were we can capture the beautiful view of Gibb’s Cay and a few other little uninhabited islands that are visible in the Atlantic Ocean. Drive to the John Glenn’s Capsule located at the entrance to the international airport. Pass the many Salina’s that were used to obtain Salt in its natural form during the Salt Industry on our way to the charming little city of Cockburn Town, which is the Administrative and Political Capital of the Turks & Caicos Islands. After catching a quick look of the Capital we will make our way to North Wells, where if we're lucky we may catch a glimpse of the famous endangered “Pink Flamingo’s” that can be seen foraging through the silted bottom of the Salina ponds in search of brine shrimp and other crustaceans indigenous to the natural wild life, not to mention passing the occasional indigenous wild horses who roam free on the island. Enter North Wells by way of a narrow sand track where many a tour bus dare not venture on our way around the island, pass the North Creek, a ships haven during a hurricane, to the Northern most tip of the Island. Enjoy the view from the cliffs high above the Atlantic Ocean, take a short nature walk to the tip of the Island and maybe catch a glimpse of the humpback whales that migrate between February and March. We will then get back in our buggies and journey along the east coast back to the cruise ship pier.
