Atlantis Aquaventure Full Day w/ Lunch

(The Bahamas) You’ve seen the TV commercials for the Atlantis Resort. Now’s your chance to discover all the fun and excitement the Atlantis Aquaventure Water Park has to offer when your Carnival cruise calls on Nassau in the Bahamas. Your tour begins when you board an air-conditioned motor coach for a 20-minute ride to the famed Atlantis Resort. Upon your arrival, you’ll be escorted on a tour of the grounds. Discover the resort’s 141-acre waterscape of pools, water coasters, body slides and rivers, making it the largest water-themed attraction in the Caribbean. The spectacular park features over 20 million gallons of fresh and seawater with more than 50,000 sea creatures. Be sure to view the marine exhibit called The Dig where you can embark on a journey through the tunnels and streets of the famous lost city of Atlantis and see spectacular marine life. Your tour will end at the Day Visitor Center, just beyond the Royal Towers. Now you’re free to enjoy all the fun this world of water has to offer. For real exhilaration, ride the adrenalin-inducing water slides, including the pulse-pounding seven-story Power Tower. Go grab an inner tube and enjoy The Current & Rapids, a one-mile journey that serves up waves, rapids, tunnels, mysterious caves and other surprises. When you’ve had enough thrills for the moment, relax under the warm Bahamas sun and cool off in the refreshing water of a swimming pool. There are 11 to choose from such as the formal splendor of The Baths or the relaxed atmosphere of the River Pool that is connected to the Lazy River Ride. Perhaps you’d like to visit the seven-acre Paradise Lagoon and rent paddleboats, snorkeling and other water sports in a protected environment. The powder-soft sand beach will invite you to linger and gaze over the azure water of the Bahamas. While you’re at the Atlantis Resort, try your luck at the Caribbean’s largest casino or stroll through the more than 20 duty-free shops at the Marina Village. You’ll find everything from beach attire to unique crystal and watches from a variety of luxury boutiques. When you’re ready for lunch, use the coupon provided at one of several outdoor eateries that offer wonderful views of the waterscape, lagoon, pools and the sea. You may return to your “Fun Ship” every half hour starting at 1:00 PM with the last complimentary bus at 5:30 PM. After that, you have the option of taking a taxi back to the pier at your own expense. Dolphin Swim Adventure

(Tortola) Take the opportunity to get into the water and swim with these amazing creatures and learn about dolphin behavior in their own habitat. On this excursion you will: * Take a scenic drive from the cruise ship pier, through Road Town and out to beautiful Prospect Reef. * Arrive at the Dolphin Discovery Facility where you will be given a briefing before being introduced to the Dolphins. * Swim in a 20 –30 minute session and interact in the water with the dolphins and one of the dolphin trainers. * Have the opportunity to experience 2 or 3 different behaviors in the water with the dolphins. * Purchase photos and souvenirs after the swim. Note: Pregnant women will not be permitted to participate; minimum age for participation is 3 years. Children between the ages of 3 - 8 years must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult, no exceptions. Minimum height for children is 4 feet, no children under this height restriction may participate at all. The platform in the water is not safe for children under 3 years nor under 4 feet tall. All participants must wear swimwear.

Snuba Adventure at Coral World

Explore the beauty of the undersea world without cumbersome scuba diving gear. On this excursion you will: * Board an open air island safari bus for the 30-minute island drive to Coral World. * Be escorted to the SNUBA orientation area where you will receive a briefing on the use of the equipment and learn what you can expect during your dive. * Enjoy approximately 30-minutes of exploration under the sea, while the air supply floats on the surface above you view the colorful marine life not viewable from the surface and without the surface limitations of snorkeling. * Explore Coral World where you can see an amazing array of sea creatures, from tiny seahorses to giant lobsters. * Touch sea stars and sea cucumbers, pet a shark, or feed the stingrays and the rainbow lorikeets. * Have the opportunity to see at least one of the narrated feedings. * Browse though the gift shops or enjoy a snack or a specialty frozen drink at the Shark Bar, at your expense, before departing Coral World. Note: Minimum age is 8 years old; maximum weight is 350 lbs. Medical release form is required. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries, heart/respiratory conditions, high blood pressure, seizures or recent surgery are not permitted. Consult the Diving Policy at the beginning of your Shore Excursions brochure prior to booking. The order of the activities may vary.
