Whenever I think of the time James and I first met there is one particular song lyric that always comes to my mind. "We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year" by Pink Floyd. At that point in both of our lives, we were both wondering aimlessly through each day, just waiting to find the one that would complete each of our eternal souls. From the moment we laid our eyes upon each other there was instantly this sense of intense passion and eventually love; but not just an ordinary kind of love, one that is filled with a deep understanding for each other. After months of coping with a long distance relationship James and I decided in July 2012 that we could no longer live a single day without each other. Through every moment of highs and lows, ups and downs, happiness and sorrow, the one thing that has always remained true was the undying love that we share. We are ecstatic in welcoming all of our family and friends near and far in joining us on our wedding day.

One of our most favorite local spots to escape to for an afternoon of sea breeze and scenery is Fort Monroe, right here in Hampton. Standing at the top of an old war mote is where James professed his love for me. From that moment on, I knew this is where I dreamed of marrying my soul mate. Without a doubt in my mind the perfect church would be St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. We cannot wait for everyone to join us as we exchange our vows and begin our life long journey together.

After the exchanging of our vows we will be gathering with friends and family at Cordier Hall. There will be music, dancing, delicious hors d'oeuvres, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime. Without a doubt there is sure to be fun had by all!
