Relationships aren't hard if you both truly love each other. There are times where you both need some time away, times where you both have different opinions on something, times where one person spends more money then the other likes, but with love, respect, kindness, loyalty, devotion, communication and trust- it can last forever.

We were best friends for 12+ years before we decided to ACTUALLY give it a shot. I say "actually" because, we "dated" when we were kids, when we had no idea what that even meant (lol). We watched each other grow up, go through high school, get into relationships, lose friends, gain friends, new cars, new jobs, without a single thought that we'd be where we are today.

2018 is when we chose each other. We decided to put the effort in, to learn each other, figure out how we could agree to disagree, who and what the other person did and didn't like, what made us happy, what made us scared, our love languages, favorite foods, shoe size, what each other's goals are, what we wanted our futures to look like, etc.

Fast forward to now- the beginning of 2023. I, lynsey- just lost my father and am going through the worst time of my life and I can honestly say, I couldn't have picked anyone better then Joey to be by my side and be my life vest when I feel like I'm drowning. The love, support, comfort, motivation, pep talks, it's everything I need and everything he gives and more. We LOVE the life we built TOGETHER. It's simple. It's easy. It's sunshine on a rainy day. It's true love and it's going to last forever!
