FAQs

Is there a dress code?

Yes! There is a dress code which is semi-formal. Which means dresses, skirts, suits, and dress pants/shirts. We are keeping it spring theme so please dress in spring colors. Please no neon colors or dark colors. Girls, no white.

 

When should i RSVP by?

Please send your RSVP as soon as you can! Wether it be mailing the RSVP card back to us or RSVP on our website. The latest we can accept your response is February 27th, 2025. If we do not recieve a response by this date, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us. However, we must promptly provide the total guest count to our vendors and we cannot accept late RSVPs past this point. We hope you understand.

 

Are children allowed?

Although we love your little ones. We have decided this will be an adult only event. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to celebrating with you!

 

Can I still come if i didn't RSVP?

Unfortuantely, we cannot accommodate those who do not RSVP because of limited capacity. We have to give a final head count to all the vendors on February 27th. Thank you for understanding!

 

What time should I/We arrive?

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to allow time for seating and parking.

 

Do I have a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests who formally invited on your wedding invitiation. If you recieve a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If someone cannot attend on your list, please note this does not mean you can replace them with a seperate guest in their place.

 

Will we be outdoors?

Yes! We are hoping for great weather. But just in case, plan on bringing an umbrella, raincoat, or a chnage of shoes! The reception will be held indoors at The Carriage House at Vedder Farm.

 

Is there parking at the venue?

There is an open parking lot at the venue within short walking distance to the ceremony and reception. There will be signs directing you to the appropriate parking lot. If you plan to drink, we do encourage using rideshare companies to and from the venue as we cannot leave our cars overnight at the venue. 

 

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! Please coordinate transportation accordingly and get ready to celebrate Mr. & Mrs. Riley-Smith!

 

Can I take pictures?

The only request we make is to please put your phones away during the CEREMONY. We ahve hired an incredible photographer to capture our ceremony and would love for you to be present when we say "I do." However, please feel free to take photos before or after the ceremony.
