FAQs

We're just throwing random info here to provide whatever information you may be curious about. Feel free to call or text us if you have any questions that aren't covered.

What should I wear?

We'll be wearing a suit and dress, but you can wear whatever makes you feel beautiful ... so long as it's not illegal ... Just know that there will be professional photos captured, so if you are wearing pajamas make sure they're your favorite.

I'm an aspiring photographer, can I also capture the magic of any guests wearing pajamas?

Absolutely! We encourage it! We hired a photograpgher to snag some ceremony pics and a few group shots of everyone right after. Other than that, we could use some help capturing the magic of the evening. We're including a QR code in the wedding programs so anyone interested can upload and view pics from the big day.

What's for dinner?

My vote was for pizza, but Mike vetoed. He insisted we have a real reception like full-fledged adults. Sooooo .... Dinner is: Cranberry Chicken, Pork Tenderloin with Brown Sugar Glaze, Roasted Red Potatoes with Rosemary, Haricot Verts with Almonds (fancy green beans lol), Steamed Brocolli, Garden Salad, Rolls.

Will there be dancing?

That's up to you!  We're setting the mood with a speaker, disco lights, some floor space, and a probably mediocre playlist. Text us your favorite dance songs! Seriously, we're totally winging this DJ thing and just going to shuffle a playlist ... HELP! lol.

I'm nervous about dancing, will there be alcohol? :)

Yep! If you're over 21 then head to our self-serve bar and grab a beer, an NA beer, or some wine (and maybe some other random drinks that catch our fancy when we hit the grocery store the week before the wedding).  Picky about your drinks? Feel free to bring your favorite, but no liquor please.

What's this rumor I hear about there being a pool? Can I go for a swim?

Yes, but maybe wait until after the ceremony. Bring a towel and a swimsuit ... and maybe dip a toe in to check the temp before launching into your best cannon ball. It's not unusual to have highs in the 80s in March, but also not unusual for lows in the 40s.
