Collin and Lauren met while working together for the Sheriff's Office, over time they became friends. At the end of summer of 2022, Lauren asked Collin for help on her dad's farm. Collin was scared of heights but never mentioned that when he was told the job entailed adding a roof to her father's front porch. After a few long hot days in the sun Collin and Lauren would spend the evenings talking to each other about life and the day to day at the department. Days turned into weeks and it dawned on Collin and Lauren that they couldnt live without each other.
