It's true, when you give up control and let God take over, beautiful things come into your life. We met at a party I didn't want to go to attend. I had given up and didn't want to go out anymore. But I kept my commitment reluctantly. Across a bonfire I spy a man, and immediately disregard any thoughts about how handsome I thought he was.Well, we end up side by side not talking. Somehow we say hello. We had acquaintances in common,and had even met a year before. By the end of the night he asked m e for my number and said he'd call me at 3:30 the next day. We've all heard that before. But the next at 3:30 my phone rang, and so it has every day at 3:30, ten years later. He's trustworthy, steadfast,kind and strong. I never wonder if he loves me, cause he shows me everyday.

Like in my favorite story; The Velveteen Rabbit; when your fur is rubbed off and your button eyes are gone, your limbs are loose. Half your stuffing may even be gone.
