This photo says it all.....

All started with a weekend away, destination unknown to me. We headed south on the highway which made me think Tahoe. Then he turned around and headed north. Ok, that worked to confuse me. I figured it out after a while that we were going to Leavenworth. We had been there one other time and its such cool little town up in Washington.

Mark got a room for the 1st 2 nights at the Bavarian Ritz right in town and the 3rd night we camped. We went skiing on Friday December 1st at Steven's Pass then headed back to town. Got dinner at a little Mexican food place next to our hotel then went for a walk to check out all the lights and the shops. There were horse drawn carriages, choirs singing, Santa wondering the town and LOTS of people. Stopped in one particular area kinda in the middle of all the lights and festivities and Mark had asked which tree did I think was the best. I pointed out one of the largest with tons of lights on it. He asked me to take a pic of him in front of it. I tried, I could not get all the tree in the frame and said this just wasn't working and the lighting sucked. He insisted that I try again and then it happened....He went down on one knee and asked that question that I wasn't sure I'd ever hear from him. If you look at that photo you can see his hand in his pocket where the ring was. Beautiful ring, best location, complete surprise. He was shaking and so was I. So obviously I said yes and here we are!
