Who knew that a quick stop at a pre-Fourth of July barbecue would be the beginning of a new and wonderful chapter in my life!

My daughter asked me to stop by her sister's house, and since I had not seen her sisters and their families in a while I didn't want to pass on the invitation.

However, it almost didn't happen as I was doing work at home, expecting a grocery delivery, and was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt (obviously not in any way dressed with the intention of meeting my future husband).

But I figured that I should at least make the time to stop by and say hello and I'm quite glad that I did!

It was July 3rd and my daughter invited me to her house for a pre-holiday barbeque. There she had intentions of introducing me to a woman who wasn't Terri (funny right)? However, fate played its part and I met someone who I immediately felt a good vibe with. Who knew she'd become my bride to be?! Terri and I have been vibing ever since and I am delighted to be with her. She has become my everything.
