When I got home from work and Brett wasn't there I gave him a call. He told me he'll be home soon but that I need to shower and get dressed because we were going out. We went to our favorite restuarant and we were very secluded it was a super sweet spot. We started talking about us and just where we were in our lives and Brett was just being so sweet (like weirdly sweet but now I see why :P ). So when it comes time to leave Brett asks the waitress to take our picture and when Brett gets me right where he wants me, he gets down on one knee and pulls the ring out. I see the ring, I see him, and he looks at me and says "I know we've been talking about this for a while" but I couldn't control my emotions. It was happening. It was actually happening. Waterworks. Major. I just wanted to hold him and love him forever and now I get to.
