Saturday December 27th, 2014 was no different than any other night to go out country dancing - except we went to the west side which was pretty unusual. After being there a very short time I noticed this good looking guy sitting by himself - I just figured he was waiting for someone. Previously I had a friend ask me to keep an eye out for a guy she dated and Kerry kind of looked like him so I messaged my friend and she asked me to take a picture of him and send it to her - um ok.......... Well I asked him if I could take his picture and told him why and he said ok. Whew - done! Nope......I also messaged a few of my single girlfriends and asked them where they were as there usually isn't a single good looking guy by himself when we are out dancing (at that time we usually traveled in a group) but remember we went to the west side this time and it's not close to most of us. They said have him come to Tom Ryan's for New Year's Eve - um no I'm not asking a guy I just met to join me somewhere on New Year's Eve! My friends insisted I do so - I finally said I'm sure you already have plans for New Year's Eve but if you don't me and many single girlfriends will be there. He said "No, I don't have plans and yeah I'll come there". So, we friended each other on Facebook as Kerry had never been to Tom Ryan's and he wanted a reminder. Then we exchanged phone numbers as that is easier than facebook for messaging. A few days later he asked if I wanted him to pick me up - um no this isn't a date! See, I wasn't really ready or looking to get into a relationship at that time - someone above had other ideas and I'm glad. Pretty much a coincidence that Kerry had never been to Jus Country before and I hardly ever go there because it's pretty far from the house.

New Year’s Eve he made his way to Tom Ryan’s as he said he would and I was already there with some friends, I introduced him to all my single friends but it was pretty clear he was interested in me! He made sure he had me on the dance floor at midnight and kissed me! After that we saw each other quite a bit – there was a slight problem but not that bad – he lived in North Phoenix and I don’t like driving that far. The good thing is he worked near where I lived and worked so it wasn’t too much of a problem. What brought Kerry to Just Country is that he had been doing open mic with a country band called Silver Sage and that’s the band that was at Just Country that particular Saturday. He even got up on stage and song a couple songs with them that night we met! Sweet he sings country music and I love to listen and dance to country music – BONUS!

Kerry wanted to be with each other more and more permanent so he decided to put his house on the market and move my way and shortly after we were living together!
