Julie and Megan met in the wee hours of March 4th 2018.  Megan's friends had just left her at Martha's Vineyard, a local club, and she decided to talk to one of the guys who she had met earlier in the evening.  That is when she noticed Julie outside.  She was very intimidated because she had just enacted her '5 drink rule' for the first time due to the previous weekends' shenanigans yet still decided to lamely ask, "Do you come here often?"

Julie looked very disinterested and said, "No, not really."  She later states she wasn't interested because she felt Megan was not the type to be into her.  Julie's friends came in a large gaggle and swept her up onto the dance floor inside the club.  Megan decided to ask Julie's friend Stephen if she was open to meeting her and Stephen exclaimed something to the effect of "Go talk to her!"

Megan then rushed to the dance floor and grabbed Julie out of a sandwich of her friends while dancing.  It was not even a few seconds later that they shared their first kiss.  No words were needed.  They proceeded to what Megan considers to be their first date that took place in Julie's car where they talked about family, coming out, religion, and common interests until 6 AM.  They didn't leave the car until the details of their next date were decided.

Fast Foreward very quickly 5 months and it was obvious things were going well.  The two decided to "UHAUL" and moved in together and started their family of fur babies.  

The official engagement day is November 23rd, but if you ask Megan she knew from the first week that Julie was special and just the woman God placed in her life for her.  Julie says that she knew in the first month that they would later be engaged.  There was no official proposal or grand gesture.  There was just a common understanding that both couldn't imagine waking up without the other next to them for the rest of their lives.
