Bride

Brett and I picked out my engagement ring together. We picked out the setting and the stone seperate so I never got to see it put together until the day he proposed.  He colaborated with my sister Veronica to get me up to Hatcher Pass on March 31st 2015 before I was supposed to work to go "sledding" with her kids while there was still snow on the ground. I assumed Brett was at work all day seeing as how it was a Tuesday. On the way up the mountain my sisters youngest daughter Jovie started crying so Veronica started singing "If your happy and you know it clap your hands" which turned into other silly things like "pinch your cheeks" as we rounded the corner to the parking lot on top of the mountain she changed to "If your happy and you know it look who's here". It took me a minute to realize that it was Brett standing there on the snow bank next to my sisters best frined who is a photographer to realize what was happening. I was in my work shoes and had to put on my snow boots whick felt like it took forever because I was so nervous. I climbed up the snow bank and Brett got down on one knee and said "Joell, this past year has been the best year of my life. Will you marry me?" of course I said yes! Conveneintly I carry my make up in my purse so after i slapped some make up on really quick we took our engagement picutures! It couldnt have been more perfect!
