Bride

I guess this is the part about me. I grew up in Katy, Texas with the best Mom and Dad and 2 little/big (they are both way taller than me) brothers. My Dad coached my softball team growing up and that is a favorite past time for me. I was on the drill team at Katy High School GO TIGERS! I moved to Killeen, Texas shortly after graduating. I had some great years there and met lifelong friends. I sold insurance there for 6.5 years with the coolest boss in the world! That is where I bought my first house and gave birth to both of my children. Unfortunately that town did not have much to offer me and I had to get back to Katy where I knew the schools were great for my children and I could get into something I could move up in. I went to medical assisting school at night, graduated from that and went to work at the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. I moved up quickly and I love my job and what the company does for the community. I love being a Mom and watching all of our children grow and play sports. I also love to dance and you just might catch Aundrey and I starting a dance party in the streets of any town, anywhere in the world. (It's happened a few times already) I am blessed that my path crossed with Aundrey's path. He has a heart of gold. I am beyond excited to spend the rest of my life as Aundrey's wife. Enough about me check out the other sections :)

Groom

To all that may not know me, I was born and raised in Erie, PA. I am of mixed race with a black father and white mother. I have 6 younger brothers and sisters from my mother & father and 15 (give or take, lol) older siblings from my fathers previous relationships. I grew up playing sports my whole life and it afforded a "way out" that I would not have gotten elsewhere. I dropped out of college and joined the Marine Corps at 18. I did 5 years in the Corps and went to Iraq twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have 3 beautiful children with my ex-wife who also lives in Katy. So this is obviously my second marriage. I learned a lot from the first one and it has helped me tremendously in being the best partner I can be for Elissa. Knowing what we want and need from each other and communicating those things have been paramount in getting us to where we are now. We have been living together for a while now but this is a really big step for us. I always said I was never getting married again. And then this woman came into my life and changed my mind. I not only want to, but can't wait to spend the rest of life with her as my wife.
