What a surprise!

For our anniversary we planned a date night in Greensboro.  After a delicious dinner at Lucky 32 we were going to the Carolina History and Haunts tour.  I had no idea he was planning to propose.  The tour guide kept mentioning that he had a special story he was adding to the tour that night.  After we heard the story at The Biltmore Hotel he guided the group down the street to 301 S Greene St.  The tour guide walked to the top of the stairs and said this is where his special story takes place.  He said he needed a volunteer as he told this story of true love.  Of course I look down and pray that he doesn't pick me.  Well, he picked me so I walked up there with him. (Still clueless) He told everyone to get out their cameras because there were lots of pictures to be taken of a man on one knee.  Oh my God! Travis came up and kneeled on one knee and asked me to marry him.  So, of course I said YES!

I knew I was ready when I felt the feeling I have never felt before, it was the feeling of true love. We had planned to do a haunt and history tour and I knew this was my chance. I contacted the people doing the tour and ask if there was any pretty places that we would go by on the tour. They responded with they could work it in one of the stories and it would be at the end of the tour. The story goes as 'there was a man that met the love of his life so get your cameras ready because theres many pictures of a man on one knee' and that was my cue to go and ask the most important question of my life.
