I cannot begin to tell you how excited we are about this! It's a cruise, wedding and honeymoon adventure and we asked that y'all come along on it! Warm sunny beaches, cocktails at all hours, amazing food, you get to see me and make some new friends along the way, as well as catch up with some old friends and family.
We begin in Miami and from there we will be heading to Nassau. The first stop of 3 before returning to Miami. We're planning on swimming with the piggies, the whole reason I wanted this specific cruise itinerary. From Nassau we head into the wedding day at Half Moon Cay, a private island owned by Carnival and the only place our marriage would be legal without having to do extra stuff. The ceremony is only going to be about 15-20 minutes in the cutest little chapel on the beach. Can we say "ooohh how cute!" I'm pretty certain afterwards we will be consumed by taking all of the obligatory wedding pictures. I want and need them all! I'm also interested in whatever ones you may have of us to add to all of the amazing memories I'm looking forward to making that day.
Phew, still with me? From Half Moon Cay we will depart to Grand Turk. I've been to Grand Turk before and it is a gorgeous island! Take a taxi and bop around the island or rent a golf cart and make your own adventure just like the books from our youth! There's the salt flats, a maritime museum and lighthouse as well as locals selling their wares in a few small markets. This is where I got one of my favorite paintings. The blues in it remind me of the waters there and I never wanted to forget it.
From Grand Turk we head back to Miami. The party isn't over just yet though. There's a day at sea before we reach the dock again. Enjoy the ship, there's plenty to do. The serenity adults only deck is nice. There's various pools, hot tubs, spas, casino, comedy club (I really like the comedy club; they've several performers throughout the day), food (both included in the cruise and a few restaurants you have to pay for) and so much more. Once back in Miami we all go our separate ways but don't forget that on September 30th we’re having a reception for all those who were not able to make the cruise.
