Welcome
Welcome

It was A humid July day and we both happen to be attending Caylee's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  I was a friend of Chrissy's and he was a friend of Matt's. Very few words were exchanged that day, and no numbers.  A few weeks later Chrissy is texting me that Steve liked me. Apparently he had called Matt the night before and was talking about me :)  I remember I was all smiles and had butterflies in my tummy.  Matt and Chrissy attempted to get us together over at their house at the same time on multiple occassions, but being we were both very shy, it never quite worked out.  Steve eventually gave in and requested to be my friend on Facebook.  The joys of the soical media :) We began taking all day everyday on Facebook for a few week weeks before eventually hanging out.  When we did get to hanging out it was like I had known him for years. We just clicked immediately. Nobody made me smile as much as Steve did.  I knew I had something special.  We have been together ever since.

It was Memorial day weekend and we were heading to Colorado for a wedding I was going to be in.  Steve being a trooper decided to tag along and enjoy a mini vacation with me. That weekend Steve manage to sit through, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, pedicures and manicures, hair appointments, ect... That Sunday Nichole's wedding came and everything turned out beautiful.  After the wedding we had almost a week of vacation time to go off and venture the state.  We manage to go to Redrocks and seen LMFAO, go to Pikes Peak, Rocky Mountain and Estes Park.  While our stay at the Stanely in Estes Park we find out Nichole and Brandon are booked the same nights at the hotel as we are. So they invited us out to go horse back riding with them.  It was a groupon deal they got for 3 hours of riding and a steak dinner prior.  Me, I had never been on a horse before was alittle scared to go, but they managed to talk me into it.  We Arrive and go and eat the steak dinner and then they take us out to the horses.  There are about 14 other people in the group with us.  They walk us through how to steer the horses ect... after the instructions we begin our hike up the mountain.  I am scared as can be and everyone else is acting like they are professionals.  After an hour and a half up the moutain we reach the top.  They stop us so people can take pictures.  The mountain is the mountain that is on the coors light bottles and can :)  after about 5 mins of pictures they start heading back down the mountain.  Nichole and Brandon are behind me and Steve is about 3 horses in front of me ( we had to walk in a single line) Nichole is yelling for Steve to wait for me.  Steve pulls off to the side and waits for me to come walking up as i'm trying to control my horse who is sliding on rocks attempting to go down a mountain.  As I look over at him I notice a silver shiny thing on his pinky finger at this point I didn't know what it was.  I asked "what is that" He says " well it wasn't supose to happen like this, but here"  he reaches over and hands it to me and his horse takes off. In the meantime my horse starts sliding and speeding up trooting down the mountain, I'm trying to hold onto the horse and the thing in my hand that Steve had just handed me.  I have Nichole's horse behind me standing up on two legs freaking out from my horse. She is getting scared.  I'm yelling back at her "are you ok", She is asking what my answer is.  I'm trying to figure what she is talking about. Brandon is yelling " did you ask her"  at this point I finally realize I have a ring in my hand and I think he might be proposing , but i'm not quite sure yet. Nichole is like " did he ask?"  I'm like" ask what"  They finally realize thwt Steve hadn't asked yet.  Nichole is trying to get the people in front of me to move out of the way so he could ask me, they just wouldn't move so Nichole had to yell " excuse me, can you please move out of the way he is trying to propose here. It was quite the show!  He eventually was able to ask me and I of course excepted.
