Brad and I have "known" each other and went to the same church for around 13 years! But we never talked until June 2009 when his brother Donnie preached at our church, West Black Creek Baptist Church. After church on June 9th a group of us went and got some food from McAlister's. From that night on Brad and I have spent a hand full of days apart (not including the 2 weeks that he is at work).

2 years and 2 months after starting this amazing adventure, Brad proposed to me on the beach at the Coast after eating supper at the Casino. Although you've heard stories about people getting engaged on the beach you normally hear it being done during sunset. Not Brad and I! Brad had planned for it to be the night of a full moon!

Our Wedding will be on June 9, 2012! 3 years after the first night we hung out! The ceremony and reception will be located at the Big Creek Wildlife Lodge. Planning this wedding has been a great experience so far. I have always known what I wanted from the flowers to the colors. Brad is not like most grooms. He wants to be involved with everything, well except the flower and the girl's dresses. Having him there by my side throughout planning our wedding has been so amazing.

Word of advice though to all you brides-to-be, don't force him to be involved!

When it comes to planning our honeymoon one thing was certain, we wanted to go to Hawaii! Then again who doesn't? After doing research and finding out that it would cost no less than $5,000 for that dream honeymoon, we started thinking about taking a cruise. Picking Carnival was hands down the best option for us.

We have a cruise set to leave on June 10th and take a 7 day honeymoon to the Bahama's. We will be going to Key West, FL, Freeport and Nassua Bahama. We have a honeymoon registry to those that would like to help us enjoy our honeymoon even more! You have the option to put funds towards the cruise itself, special activities such as a couples massage, or activities off the boat like swimming with the dolphins which is a dream of mine!

Brad and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being here for us. You all have done so much and have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us, and continue to give to us. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry. You all have blessed our lives and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
