Thank you so much for visiting our wedding page. We set this up to give you all the information you need to make the morning of the wedding go as smooth as possible. Since we have to be at the cruise terminal at 9:30 am the morning of the 24th, it is suggested that guests spend the night in Galveston. This is up to you, but if you are not at the cruise terminal at 9:30 there is a chance that you willl not be allowed to board.
The following is from Carnival.
We CAN NOT stress enough how important it is that ALL guests arrive ON TIME. Please keep in mind that there are over 2000 people boarding the ship the same day of the wedding and the check-in process can take up to an hour. Carnival provides special check -in assistance for wedding couples and their guests, provided they arrive to the pier on time. Check-in will commence at the designated Check-in Area located inside the cruise terminal. All wedding ceremonies are timed, priced and coordinated for the time allotted for the specific package. YOU MUST BE PROMPT! Delays on the part of the wedding couple or their guest may result in limiting time or cancelling the ceremony and or reception.
All sailing and non-sailing guests MUST ARRIVE already dressed and ready for the wedding!
Non-saling guests MUST bring a form of picture ID, such as a driver license, passport, birth certificate or school ID (for children) in order to board the ship. Anyone who does not have ID will be denied boarding.
Due to U.S, Customs regulation, guests are asked NOT to bring wedding gifts onboard the ship. |
