Katie and Nick met through work in May of 2013, after Katie was transferred for work from Dallas to Nashville for what was supposed to be a yearlong assignment. Not knowing anyone aside from her few coworkers, this was a drastic change and big transition from life in Dallas. Nick lived an hour South of Nashville and had also just recently transferred to the same work location as Katie.

An instant friendship sparked and a close bond was formed after spending some quality time together and discovering everything they had in common. Quickly becoming inseparable, they could no longer deny their feelings for each other and Katie decided to make Nashville her permanent home with Nick. The love birds have been attached at the hip ever since and are living their happily ever after. 

Nick proposed to Katie at Arrington Vineyards, a favorite date spot of theirs, on July 5th, 2014.

They eloped to Panama City Beach, FL. on June 20th, 2015 and had a beautiful, private ceremony beach-side. 

Katie and Nick will be flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 12th and spending 2 days there. From San Juan, they will be sailing away on a 7 day, Southern Caribbean Cruise to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Martaan.
