Shayne and I met through our friends. My best friend Lisa and her husband John. Shayne and John worked together so Lisa being the matchmaker she is decided to set up a date for us. We first met at the Old Bag of Nails in Delaware. From there we went to a few bars with John and Lisa. We've been together ever since.

Shayne and I had set up a time in December to take Charlotte to WildLights at the Zoo. Right before we were getting ready to leave he 'got called into work.' I completely believed he had to go into work and sell a car. So my mom, dad, grandparents, and brother went on to the zoo. We went to go see santa first. As Charlotte and I were waiting to see him, Shayne was waiting in some room without me knowing. Charlotte and I got up to see santa, and then santa says oh I have something special for you. Just then Shayne came up behind me, I had no idea what he was doing there...thinking he was supposed to be at work. He got down on one knee and told me Charlotte and I were his world and he loved me so much and if I would marry him. He had a ring for Charla. Everyone was there and it was so lovely.

The best man is John Hess, one of Shayne's really good friends and the man that made it possible for us to meet.

The Maid of Honor is my lovely sister Jessica Hibar. I don't know what I would do without her.

Bridesmaid Lisa Hess and Michaela Kinser. I've known Lisa for years she's also the matchmaker here...and we have many memories together with much more to come. I work with Michaela and she is just a joy to be around.

Groomsmen Eric Hibar and Ryan Kierns. My brother Eric and Shayne's best friend Ryan.  They are a bunch of goofballs when we all get together.
