Passing the Hadrian Temple in Izmir, we’ll walk down the Arcadian Way seeing the remarkable Celsius Library, the Baths of Scholastikia, the Terrace Houses and tour the Great Theatre. At the Archaeological Museum of Ephesus, we’ll view the fresco of Socrates, the statues and heads of Eros, ancient coins, crosses, the famous statue of Artemis and examples of the wealth of the Roman inhabitants in the recent excavations of the Terrace Houses!

Best of Athens

Best of Athens

On our Carnival honeymoon, we’ll visit the most breathtaking sites in Athens, Greece! We’ll visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the Erectheion and see the entire city of Athens below, visit the local museum and enjoy a Greek lunch at a restaurant in Plaka. On our way to the National Archeological Museum we’ll pass the Temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier before we explore the Plaka area at our leisure!

Experiencing Croatia and the many historic sights will be an amazing excursion! We’ll witness views of the Dubrovnik and its Riviera, visit Dubrovnik’s Monasteries, the Cathedral and enjoy views of the Sponza Palace with its columned courtyard and stone carvings, the Church of Saint Blaise, the Rectors Palace and Onofriou’s. The Classical Sightseeing tour will leave us with happy honeymoon memories!

Dramatic Delphi

Delphi was dedicated to Apollo, the god of moderation and music and on this excursion we’ll see the site of Delphi and her ruins in Athens! Our Greek guide will tell us about how this breathtaking site hides some of the spell of the ancient oracle while we walk up the Sacred Way, passing the beautiful Treasuries of the Temple of Apollo, witness its unique landscape and explore the Museum with its votive offerings and statues. Ending our delightful day with a traditional country lunch near the village of Arahova and free time to do some exploring at our own leisure!

Together we’ll experience the magical atmosphere of St. Mark’s Square in Venice! We’ll visit the Doge’s Palace and walk up the famous Golden Staircase to marvel at Tintoretto and Veronese’s paintings. As our tour nears an end, we’ll splurge with some delicious gelato in a charming atmosphere of the café, shop around the unique boutiques and visit a glass factory!

Verona: City of Romeo & Juliet

On our Carnival honeymoon in Venice, we’ll be introduced to the romantic setting of Romeo and Juliet! We’ll see the castle Castelvecchio, Gavi Arch and Porta Barsari and view the masterpieces at Ponte Nuovo. At Piazza delle Erbe, we’ll browse art galleries, upscale boutiques and charming sidewalk cafés, see Juliet’s balcony and walk along Via Mazzini to the arena before taking some time to shop.
