Tyler and I met online, exchanged phone numbers and started talking. After talking back and forth for a couple of days he asked me out on a dinner and bowling date. This date happened to be Friday the 13th which is a notorious for being unlucky, however it wasn’t. The only few things that were unlucky is that right before our first date my finger nail ripped half of my thumb at work. Although, I lost my finger nail and my thumb was in pain I still wanted to go on this date. As I continued to get ready the pain in my thumb started to grow. Shortly after trying on several of thousands of outfits and a shower, my thumb pain was unbearable. At that point I sent Tyler a quick message saying that I was sorry but I couldn’t go bowling due to my thumb, I do still want to go out on the date. Being bummed about not being able to bowl, I was still pretty ecstatic about the date. It was soon time for Tyler to come and pick me up. The snow had just fallen so the roads where slippery, worried and hoping that he would not only make it on time but safely. Luckily disgracing the Friday the 13th tradition he did make it on time. As he pulled in, I started to walk down the outside stairs of my apartment.   After I spent two hours getting ready I wanted to make my grand entrance to be a dazzler.  Well it was a grand entrance just a little short of dazzling. As soon as my heels touched the concrete I slipped on black ice and fell chin first to the ground. Gravity was not my friend the night I want to impress him. On the ground I look up to see Tyler slowly get out of his car. I didn’t want to look weak in front of someone that I have never met only talked too. I got up walk to his car and got in. The first proper thing to say to him at that moment would be hi. Although giving my recent close face to face with the pavement the only thing I could say was “I think I broke my face.” In all honesty it did feel like I broke my face by the amount of blood coming from my face, but no matter how many times Tyler asked me if he wanted if I wanted to go to the hospital I said no. The date did proceed to go on as we took our very awkward ride to Applebee’s. The first half hour at Applebee’s was really embarrassing blushing red, quit, and boring. After I was able to calm down and get over the fall the date started to go which ended up being the best night I have had in a while. So, in a way I did fall for my now fiancé on our first date, this is why our theme to our wedding is falling in love.

Our wedding will be October 11th 2014 in Tallmadge OH. We will be taking off Sunday morning for our honeymoon. :)
