Welcome

Andrew and I first met in 2011. We went out a couple of times and then life happened and we both got busy with work and we lost contact with each other. Around May of 2012 we got back in touch with each other. At first neither of us knew that we would fall in love. But that quickly changed. He had asked for a special chocolate coconut dessert one night, little did I know that this was the key to success. :0) One bite of this wonderful dessert and he was mine! Ask him to tell you the story...

We spent our early days together going out on dates. We love movies so that is what the majority of our dates were. I introduced Andrew to the food park and sushi. We try to have a sushi date night at least twice a month!

We also have a love for Las Vegas! This happens to be the place Andrew proposed to me!

In 2013 we decided to take another trip to Las Vegas for my birthday. I had no idea that this trip would change my life!

Here's how it all went down.

At DFW we went through the body scanner for security. I went first, I had no clue what was holding Andrew up. Little did I know he had the ring box in his pocket. He was trying to explain it to the TSA agents. I was just standing there with all of our stuff thinking, "geez what are you doing back there!?!"

Fast forward to Vegas. We arrived on Saturday around 12 pm. We checked into the hotel and went to grab some lunch.

He said he carried the box in his pockets for two days! He didn't want to leave it in the room and have it go missing. He said that he was so nervous about losing it from his pocket while we were walking up and down the strip.

On Sunday evening we decided to go to Bellagio and watch the water show. It was getting late so we stayed for the few shows. He had asked me what I wanted for my birthday, which was on Monday. I started naming off little things, still not catching onto his plans. He pulled the ring box out and showed it to me.

Now if you know me at all you know what happened next. I started bawling like a baby! He laughed! He said some very nice things, I'll spare you the mushy details and him the embarrassment, and then asked if I would marry him! And there we have folks! I said yes of course.

We decided after taking our first cruise together in August 2014 that we wanted to spend our honeymoon at sea!

I had to beg and plead with him to go on our first cruise. He was nervous! Well it finally paid off because he told me to book it. We went with my family to Mahogany Bay, Honduras, and Cozumel. It was truly a blast.

He was hooked! And boy was I glad, I love cruising!!

We are so looking forward to our honeymoon cruise. We will be going to Key West, Freeport, and Nassau. I am super excited that we get to go and share this time with our family.
