Combine a visit to the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, the 2,857-foot-deep Waimea Canyon and take a scenic ride up the Wailua River. Drive to a lookout point at 3,400 feet for an unsurpassed view of the canyon. See the array of colors created by the exposed volcanic rock and lush tropical vegetation. See Spouting Horn and Opaeka'a Falls. Board a riverboat for a journey along the historic Wailua River Valley. Learn of the area's historic significance as the Valley of the Ali'i (Kauai Royalty) and, after a short walk to the Fern Grotto, you will enjoy local musicians who will perform Hawaiian songs and hula at the turn around point in the river. Your river journey will conclude with a performance of the Hawaiian Wedding Song dedicated to those guests who are celebrating their honeymoon or an anniversary. Discover Hilo, Waves & Waterfalls

We’ll be able to enjoy the picturesque drive along the “Old Road” where lush rainforests and waterfalls will greet our eyes. We’ll be able to see the extraordinary Akaka Falls, a 410 foot waterfall which propels over the jagged cliffs of the dormant Mauna Kea Volcano. Next, we’ll go to the Tsunami Museum to learn about the power of the Tsunami, which includes footage of the Tsunami of 1946 that demolished a great deal of Hilo. Then we’ll travel to the awe-inspiring Shinmachi Memorial which was made in honor of the victims of the Tsunami. Afterwards, we’ll satisfy our sweet tooth with a short stop at Big Island Candies to purchase some treats that we can enjoy together.

Natural Highlights of Oahu

What a great way to experience some of Honolulu's natural wonders! We’ll start at Diamond Head and cruise down Oahu’s southern coast on our way to Hanauma Bay. Then we’ll head over to the famous blowhole at Halona Point to watch seawater blast through a volcanic vent. Our love will continue to explode on through our next stops at the Makapu’u lookout, the Pali lookout located high in the Koolau mountains and an ancient Hawaiian archaeological site and former war temple.
