DUNE BUGGY ADVENTURE (Dominican Excursion)

After a short 10 minute drive, you will arrive to the Dune Buggy base to receive a briefing, and then it is time to take your Dune Buggy and begin the adventure. Travel through a country road, passing by sugar-cane plantations and the beautiful countryside all while enjoying the “unique” sensation of driving a Dune Buggy and experiencing the Dominican nature. During the different stops, you will pass close to the Haitians villages (called Bateyes) and their schools. Here you will learn how they cut the sugar cane and also taste a few samples.

REEF & RAYS & BEACH GETAWAY (Grand Turk Excursion)

Experience the two premier attractions in the turquoise waters of Grand Turk: pristine coral reef snorkelling and stingrays at play! Your first stop is a private reef off the coast of Grand Turk. This secluded snorkelling haven is home to pristine corals, sea fans, sponges and of course, the bright tropical fish life of the Caribbean. Your experienced tour guide after your safety briefing will introduce you to two of the reef’s famous residents – Shaun, a 3½ foot docile nurse shark, and Harry, a 3 foot long curious barracuda. Next, enjoy some refreshments while you take a short ride to the stingray playground. These friendly, wild Atlantic Stingrays will let you stroke their soft underbellies and play with them,a perfect spot for that memorable vacation photograph with your new playmates. Then it’s beach time at the Reef Shark Bar & Grill! Lounge on one of the longest white sand beaches in Grand Turk. Take a dip in the warm Caribbean Sea. Jam to the rhythms of Caribbean Music. Complimentary beach chairs. Return to the ship by shuttle or at your leisure with a 5- 7 minutes’ stroll along the beach, a perfect end to your day in Grand Turk. Note: The beach portion of the excursion may operate in the reverse on some tours.
